Dave was the creator of this 2nd Bomb Group website.  He was passionate about the 2nd Bomb Group Association and our/his website and contributed to the group's well being in immeasurable ways.  Dave will be very deeply missed but his legacy will continue to serve this organization, its members, and also the children and grandchildren of 2nd BG veterans.

Jinx Falkenburg died Wednesday August 27, 2003 in Manhasset, NY.  She was 84.

She and her husband, Tex McCarty, helped persuade Dwight D. Eisenhower to

            run for President in 1952.  In 1954 she was appointed head of the Republican Party's

       woman division.  She is shown above with members of the 2nd Bomb Group while

touring Italy for the USO in 1945.  Jinx married Tex McCarty while on this trip.
