The 2007 Reunion of the 2nd Bombardment Association will be held in Houston, Texas at the newly renovated Marriott North at Greenspoint. The guest room rate will be $86 per night with two breakfasts included, or $69 per night without breakfast. There is complementary parking at the hotel as well as hotel shuttle service to and from Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). There is a huge shopping mall and great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Several great speakers have already been lined up for the banquets.

Thursday, October 11, 2007 - Your registration table will open at 14:00 to 17:00. The hospitality room will be open at 14:00 on Thursday for use until Sunday at noon. At 18:00 there were will be an informal cocktail party in the foyer outside Salon C or the dinning room. At 19:00 hours the mess hall doors will open. We will have a speaker and a coat and tie are suggested.

Friday, October 12, 2007 - Big Day #1 !!! Early lunch on you own. Be at the hotel's back door for the bus pickup. From the hotel we will have a brief tour of mostly downtown Houston and then to NASA. The first hour at NASA is a shuttle tour of the facility followed by one hour in the space museum. We depart NASA at 15:15 so we can arrive at the Lone Star Flight Museum by 16:00. This is one of the major airplane museums in the country. Their B-17 is continuously flying but they are planning to have it there for us. From the air museum there is a short tour of Galveston followed by a drop off at a very old and famous restaurant. Dinner is on your own. We depart from the restaurant at about 19:00 for a one hour drive back to the hotel.

Big! Big!! Big!!! (Maybe!!! Maybe!!! Maybe!!!) Ride in the B-17 at the Lone Star Flight Museum. Two flights, limit of eight passengers each flight. First come, first serve. Cost = $425.00 each seat (avgas costs a bunch). The maybe is the weather, maintenance problems, or location (if any of the above prevents it from getting back from an air show). Also, rides in a PT-13 Stearman or an AT-6 Texan at about $125.

Saturday, October 13, 2007 - Big Day # 2 !!! Early departure at 08:30 from the back door. The bus will run another brief tour of the city on its way to the Port of Houston. There we will board the "Sam Houston" for an extensive on the water tour of the port facility. Return should be around noon. At 13:30 there will be a 2nd Bomb Group Association meeting in the hospitality room. You afternoon will be free after the meeting. Greenspoint is a major shopping area and huge mall is located within walking distance. There will be another cocktail party (cash bar) outside Salon C where you will have a chance to meet the speaker. The banquet will begin at 19:00. We will again have a speaker and a Coat and tie are suggested.
